The cherry blossoms on the Tidal Basin in Washington D.C. came very early this year due to the warm early spring that we had. I unfortunately was not able to get down and get any shoots this spring due to competing efforts. Here are two shoots from prior years.
This is a closeup of the flowers - nery nice colorlful centers and soft white petals.
