Gettysburg Remembrance Day

The Muffled Drum’s Sad Roll Has Beat
The Soldier’s Last Tattoo.
No More On Life’s Parade Shall Meet
That Brave and Fallen Few.

Found on a plague at the Gettysburg Cemetery during Rembrance Day. 3,000 luminaries were lit in honor of the soldiers buried at this hollowed ground where Lincoln gave his Gettysburg Address.
