Easton and Nazareth Pa

The Easton, Pa., Peace Candle has been a mainstay for many years going back to 1951. It is assembled over the Soldiers' & Sailors' Monument, a Civil War memorial located in the city's Centre Square. Easton was one of the three cities that the Declaration of Independence was read. And you thought Philadelphia had those rights all sown up.....

The Moravian settlement in Bethlehem, Pa., also had a smaller settlement in Nazareth Pa., being stone, this is one of the last remaining remnants from that time period. This is the Whitefield house built around 1740 - not bad for going on 300 years.
